YES! Professional Remodeler Magazine has chosen our project in Horseheads, NY for a Silver Design award! We love that our focus on quality remodeling work has been recognized by a national magazine. We’ve known these clients for several years, so the end result is a true collaboration among our design team, carpenters and assistants, and office staff.
The clients wanted to expand their kitchen, but rarely used their dining room so our design included removing the wall between the two rooms and using the square footage for the kitchen.
The look of wide hardwood floors is achieved with highly durable luxury vinyl flooring.
All of the white kitchen cabinets and the range hood were designed by our team and are custom made in the United States by Mouser Cabinetry. The island is a deep shade of indigo blue and is also a custom design that was then made by Mouser.
This is the new view of what used to be the dining room! A window was added to the left side of the house allowing for a lot more natural light into the kitchen. The white range hood was designed by our company and custom made by Mouser Cabinets.
New expanded windows on the back wall of the kitchen look out to the home’s backyard nature area.
All windows are by Sunrise.
The sheen of Artic Frost Akdo tile backsplash reflects even more brightness into this white kitchen.
All of the knobs and pulls in the kitchen (by Top Knobs) look like they have a soft gold finish with the fancy name of champagne, which leads to the next photo where we can see the wine fridge and coffee bar area.
This is a temperature controlled wine and beverage fridge chosen by the clients - great taste! It’s given it’s own special space adjacent to the island making a very convenient kitchen bar and coffee area.
These grey quartz countertops by HanStone are the kind that you just can’t help run your hands over as soon as you get near them. They have a soft grey base which is contrasted with a slight white marbling effect and a deeper grey veining.
It’s worth quietly mentioning that all the cabinets and drawers are on soft-close hinges so slamming doors are impossible.
