George worked in the building trade with his father and continued on his own through the 70’s.
In the summer of 1984, George’s business was formalized.  Martinec Building & Remodeling grew quickly.  The garage workshop and home office soon became insufficient for the needs of the business so George rented an office and shop in Big Flats that were shared with another company. 

Currently, Martinec Building & Remodeling L.L.C. owns the property at 83 Canal Street and has expanded into the entire facility. 

We are proud to call the Big Flats community home to our business and plan to continue our growth and our relationship with our customers.
